Chung-Kyu Chung

Managing Director of Meridien Partners. Prior to his joining Meridien Partners in December 2000, Mr. Chung was an adviser to the chief credit officer and the credit department of Seoul Bank. Prior to Seoul Bank, he worked for Chase Manhattan Bank and its predecessor banks, Chemical Bank and Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company for about 20 years. Mr. Chung was the Country Credit Officer at Chase Manhattan Bank in Korea from 1996 through 2000, responsible for risk and portfolio management for Chase’s credit and investment exposure to Korean customers. Mr. Chung was also a credit representative for the bank’s investment banking projects including corporate finance, project finance, private placement and corporate valuation. Prior to Chase, he worked at Saehan Merchant Banking Corporation as a marketing officer of its leasing department for two years. Mr. Chung holds a BA in international business at Hankook University of Foreign Studies.
